USB Note is an innovative charging adapter specifically designed to assist visually impaired individuals. It not only simplifies the process of charging various devices but also provides additional safety through audio, light, and vibration notifications. Whether you're charging a phone, headphones, or any other device with a USB port, USB Note becomes an indispensable tool for you.
The primary goal was to create a device that simplifies interaction between visually impaired individuals and electronics. It was important to develop a multi-level notification system so that the user is always aware of their device's charging status and can promptly respond to any changes, such as a low battery or disconnection from the power outlet.
We focused on creating a product with simple and intuitive controls. The user can choose between sound, light, and vibration notification modes using a dedicated button, tailoring the device to their preferences. This allows USB Note to function effectively both in quiet environments and in situations where silent notifications are needed.
During the development process, we actively collaborated with the visually impaired community to consider their feedback and improve the device's functionality. Special attention was given to ergonomics and reliability: the device is compact in size and uses a standard USB port.
USB Note is a compact and multifunctional device that helps visually impaired individuals use their electronics with greater ease. It informs the user if the outlet is working, whether charging has started, the device’s charge level, and will alert them if someone disconnects it from the power source. The customizable notification modes make USB Note a convenient and versatile solution for visually impaired users.
