HaptiBraille is an innovative communication device specifically designed for deafblind individuals. It enables voice communication and the perception of a conversation partner's speech through Braille, allowing for communication without requiring those around them to abandon their usual methods of interaction.
The primary goal was to create a device that simplifies communication between deafblind individuals and those who can see and hear, without the need to learn specialized languages or gestures. HaptiBraille provides a simple and convenient way to communicate: for people with normal sight and hearing, it is oral speech, and for deafblind individuals, it involves tactile signals in Braille format.
